These Terms govern your use of the VO2 Max app for iPhone and Apple Watch (the "App"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
Not medical advice. The App is a general fitness and information tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for a doctor. VO₂ max, recovery, and heart-rate figures are estimates, not clinical measurements. Talk to your doctor before starting any new exercise programme — especially if you have a heart condition, are pregnant, are recovering from illness or injury, or have any concern about exercising. Stop and seek help if you feel unwell. You exercise at your own risk.
The App reads cardio-fitness data you've recorded in Apple Health (such as VO₂ max, heart rate, and heart-rate variability), shows you trends, and suggests workouts — easy "Zone 2" sessions and short higher-intensity intervals — adapted to your recent recovery. The suggestions are guidance, not instructions. You decide what's safe and appropriate for you.
The App processes your health data on your device and does not collect, store, or share it. See our Privacy Policy for details.
The App is licensed, not sold, to you for use only under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), except where these Terms expand on it. These Terms are between you and the developer of the App, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them.
The App, its design, and its content are owned by the developer and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the App except as the law allows.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the estimates are accurate, that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it is fit for any particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of the App or your exercise activities, including indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence).
We may update the App and these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless your local consumer law gives you other rights.
