VO2 Max

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the VO2 Max app (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles your information. The App is published by Terminus Labs. We designed it to be private by default: your health data stays on your device and is never sent to us or anyone else.

The short version

Health data we access

With your explicit authorization, the App reads the following from Apple Health to display and analyze your cardiovascular fitness:

You choose which of these the App may read, and you can change or revoke access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → VO2 Max.

How your data is used

All processing happens locally on your iPhone and Apple Watch. The App reads your Apple Health data to show your current values and percentile vs. population reference data, calculate trends, your “fitness age”, and forward projections, and to guide and track workouts. Your health data is not used for advertising, marketing, data mining, or any purpose other than providing the App’s features to you, consistent with Apple’s HealthKit requirements.

Data sharing and storage

Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Your choices

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date.
